Now that Sw and Sy had come into being, again, they both extended themselves into two. Again, never breaking the cord that ties them all together. Ankh is Sy (all). Ankh is Sw (one). The two beings of Sy are called Nwt and Tefnwt. The two beings of Sw are called Seb and Shu. Nwt and Tefnwt took the higher and lower realms of Sy, respectively. Similarly, Seb and Shu took the higher and lower realms of Sw, respectively. These 4: Nwt, Tefnwt, Seb and Shu are also called Emoting, Feeling, Knowing and Doing, respectively. The tie between them all, Qw, is called Being. The shadow of Ankh, Shwt, is called Opposing.
Ankh: To you Shw, the fiery one, you shall have the season of Spring and the direction of East, where ab (the sun) rises
To you Tefnwt, the vaporous one, you shall have the season of Fall and the direction of west, where ab (the sun) sets
To you Seb, the solid one, you shall have the season of winter and the direction of north, where the imperishable stars are
and to you Nwt, the liquid one, you shall have the season of summer and the direction of south, where sopdt (sirius) is most prevalent

Nwt is the elemental of emotion. Emotion is the externalization of subjectivity. Nwt is the pure feminine element, the black dot within the white side of the yin-yang symbol. Whenever we feel some type of way about something and we express that feeling, rather than holding onto it, we are tapping into our Nwt power. Nwt is matter. The imbalanced expression of Nwt is spiritual paralysis - you can't get these people to move/change, even if it is themselves in their own way.

Shw is the elemental of discipline. Shw is the light-bearer in us all. Just as the hebrew word for light, aur, is cognately the same with the word for skin, Shw, as our flesh and bones, or the physical part of us (the body) radiates from us to all who see our righteousness (discipline), as Matt 5:16 attests to. Righteousness, i.e. - Discipline, is the externalization of objectivity. Shu is the hybrid masculine element, the black side of the yin-yang symbol. Whenever we act based not primarily upon what we feel, but upon what we think, we are tapping into our Shu power. Shu is will. The imbalanced expression of Shu is spiritual blindness - once these people have their eyes on something, everything else is unseeable to them.

Seb is the elemental of Logic. Logic is the internalization of objectivity. Seb is the pure masculine element, the white dot within the black side of the yin-yang symbol. Whenever we have an idea and keep that idea in idea form rather than acting upon that idea, we are tapping into our Seb power. Seb is conscioiusness. Seb is objective truth. Solid like a mountain. Grounded like the earth. The imbalanced expression of Seb is spiritual deafness - you can't tell these people nothing about nothing.

Tefnwt is the elemental of feelings. Feelings are the internalization of subjectivity. Tefnwt is the hybrid feminine element, the white side of the yin-yang symbol. Whenever we feel some type of way about something and we hold on to that feeling rather than expressing that feeling, we are tapping into our Tefnwt power. Tefnwt is energy. The imbalanced expression of Tefnwt is spiritual muteness - if these people get too into their feelings they can shut down their communication faculty and brood instead of opening up.

The Cold Elementals: Seb and Tefnwt. Like a tongue on a flag pole in a blizzard. Coldness attracts heat. Heat raises metabolism, bringing cellular activity excitement. These elementals, Seb and Nwt (Earth and Water, respectively) are less attracted to calm and relaxation and more attracted to excitement and thrill. Physically, these elementals tend to be on the leaner side, due to their higher metabolism.
Heat bonds the elemental couple of Shu and Tefnwt. Heat goes where it is coolest. Chill lowers metabolism, bringing cellular activity relaxation. These elementals, Shu and Tefnwt (fire and air, respectively) are less attracted to excitement and more attracted to calm and relaxation. Physically, these elementals tend to be on the heavier side, due to their lower metabolism.
